I was saddened to learn today that Senator Ted Kennedy lost his battle to cancer this morning. No matter your political position, I think we can all agree the United States has lost one of her great sons and true patriots. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kennedy family as they morn their loss.

I learned from Ted Kennedy that a flawed human can still do great good.
I especially appreciate his "Head Start Program" and all he did for Civil Rights.
